This New LEGO Promotion Gets You a Free $20 Amazon Credit for Buying Already Discounted Sets
Amazon’s Big Spring Sale doesn’t kick off until next week, but we’re already seeing some solid LEGO deals online ahead of the event. In addition to straight-up discounts on popular sets, Amazon is also running a special promo that can get you a free $20 credit.
In order to get the extra $20, you’ll need to spend $100 on eligible LEGO sets. Amazon has a convenient landing page for everything included, so you can check out what’s available right there or dive into some of my hand-picked choices below. Once you add two eligible items with a combined cost of $100 or more into your cart, all you need to do is checkout, and a $20 credit will be added to your account 30 days after your items ship.
Not all of the sets included in the promotion are on sale, but a good number of them are. There’s the LEGO Pixar lamp set, which we had the pleasure to build last year, discounted by $12. That’s an already affordable set made only more affordable with the price cut. You could pair that with a discounted LEGO Bluey set to get it over the $100 mark and earn the promotional credit. That way you’ve got a cool LEGO set for yourself and something great for the kid(s) in your life.
Amazon also features a number of popular sets closer to the $100 price point already, though without extra discounts included. The Fortnite Battle Bus is sitting right at $99.95 and we called it a “digital-to-physical triumph” when we had the chance to put it together ourselves. You’d still need to pair it with something to get the eligible credit, with the cheapest sets floating around $12.74.
Amazon’s Big Spring Sale kicks off on Wednesday, March 25 and runs through Tuesday, March 31. That’s just next week, so you may be wondering if you should hold off on making any major purchases until then. While it’s definitely possible that Amazon will offer a better deal on LEGO sets next week, there’s no guarantee that the additional promo credit will still be available. Some of these sets are already low in stock, so there’s a chance they will sell out before prices even have the chance to drop further next week.
It’s also worth noting that last year’s Big Spring Sale included a wider variety of deals on adult LEGO sets, rather than many of the options featured for younger audiences here. So if you see something you like right now and want to get that extra $20, you don’t need to wait for a better deal.
