The update modernizes the DASDEC-III core platform to meet enterprise demand for hardened infrastructure. The new architecture is intended to ensure continued interoperability as alerting workflows and regulatory requirements evolve.
“This update strengthens our commitment to delivering reliable, forward-thinking technology for our customers,” Bill Robertson, Digital Alert Systems VP of business development, said. “By updating our platform with this release, we’re making sure our products remain efficient, responsive, and prepared for the next wave of public warning needs.”
The Version 6 update also includes the PLUS Package for active encoder devices, which offers:
- Instant alert visibility with automatic browser refresh.
- Expanded audio support for MP3 and OGG/Vorbis streaming formats.
- Front-panel audible alerts for immediate operator awareness.
- Customizable alert messaging and live sequencing of forwarded alerts.
The upgrade is available for the DASDEC-III platform. The company will continue to support Version 5.4 for customers using DASDEC-II or One-Net SE units.
Version 6 is available at no cost to DASDEC-III customers enrolled in the company’s Software Assurance Plan, those who recently purchased a DASDEC, or those who participated in the UP•TRADE program since October 2025.
