Chemical leak at Byron Nuclear Plant prompts emergency response
A situation unfolding at the Byron Nuclear Plant Tuesday evening as some workers were exposed to a chemical leak prompting a very large emergency response.
Two additional workers were hospitalized Thursday morning after potential exposure to trace amounts of a non-radiological chemical related to a Tuesday chemical leak that sent 8 workers for treatment.
