GE Appliances was firing on all cylinders at last month’s Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS), with an expansive slate of new kitchen entries for its GE, GE Profile, GE Café and Monogram brands.
The aggressive rollout included 43 redesigned side-by-side refrigerators and 39 enhanced smart wall ovens across the brand family. Here are some highlights from each, which may also find their way to next week’s AVB’s Summit in Nashville.
Monogram
GE’s luxe brand has a completely new dishwasher platform that combines ultra-quiet performance with sophisticated design. The top-of-the-line 900 series features what the company is calling “the quietest cycle performance in the industry” at a mere 37 dBA during its Quiet Cycle, while the unit’s 90 powerful wash jets deliver 360-degree cleaning, reaching every corner of the tub. The advanced wash system also features a full-extension, versatile third rack design with a dedicated wash zone, and a removable one-third section that accommodates taller items beneath for maximum loading flexibility.
The 24-inch, fully-integrated models also pack a new Crystal Cycle for delicate glassware; a Platinum Plus Cycle developed in partnership with Cascade to deliver optimized cleaning performance in less time; and a HYDROSAVE Cycle that reduces water usage by more than 25% while maintaining cleaning performance for lightly soiled dishes. The line will begin shipping in April and will carry a retail starting price of $2,200 (for the 800 series), with optional designer handles starting at $200.
GE Profile
This year GE’s step-up Profile family carries the theme “Life, Uncomplicated,” as reflected in the brand’s new 29 cubic-foot side-by-side refrigerator. Part of the manufacturer’s 43-model side-by-side refresh, the fridge features a dual-dispense autofill pitcher and “CustomSize” ice maker that can produce eight different shapes. It also offers six adjustable glass shelves and separate integrated tracks that can unlock up to three extra storage levels and can accommodate a half baking sheet. Shipping begins this fall.
In cooking, the brand introduced a line of smart, built-in convection wall ovens with 7-inch color LCD touchscreens and Cooking Assistant software that provides expert-tested recipes and precision cooking modes to help take the chore out of home cooking. Select models feature an interior camera for progress checks and Bluetooth speakers and microphone to stream audio and issue voice commands. Shipping begins this summer at a suggested retail starting price of $3,499.
GE Profile also showcased an Energy Star-rated, panel-ready top control dishwasher with stainless interior and Microban antimicrobial technology, and the award-winning 4-door French-door smart fridge with Kitchen Assistant and a built-in bar code scanner that wowed the crowds as CES.
GE Café
GE’s trend-right brand emphasized customization at this year’s KBIS, as demonstrated by the new panel-ready Cafe CustomFit smart dishwasher with stainless interior. This Energy Star-rated model features an “Ultra Wash” sliding top rack to fit tall tumblers, a lid caddy, a wash basket for stemware, and dual convection “Ultra Dry” technology. The unit is slated to ship later this year and will carry a suggested retail price of $1,549.
“Customization isn’t about having endless options,” said Café Senior Brand Director Erica Bovard. “It’s really about giving yourself permission to create a kitchen that feels like you. It’s about choosing what feels right for right now. Whether that’s matte white, matte black, stainless steel, or hardware that adds a little edge or warmth, every detail is a reflection of your intention.”
GE
As part of that 43-model side-by-side refresh, the company’s flagship brand unveiled a new 28-cubic-foot capacity fridge with adjustable shelves, increased interior capacity and a full-panel LED light wall on each side to make finding food items easier. Like its Profile stablemate, the unit has integrated tracks that allow owners to slide in a half baking sheet and unlock up to three additional storage levels, plus an added freezer drawer that enhances usable space and makes room for bulk shopping and oversized items including full pizza boxes.
Other features include an extra tall, 11-inch external water dispenser; an in-door icemaker that frees up valuable shelf space; built‑in Wi-Fi on select models; and optional fingerprint-resistant stainless steel. Shipping begins in April with suggested retail prices starting at $1,999 for the latter finish. Counter-depth and additional width options will roll out in the second and third quarters, along with non-dispenser options for garage-ready applications.
“We’re proud to introduce a fully reimagined side‑by‑side line‑up that tackles everyday challenges with smarter, more flexible design,” said Andy Spanyer executive director of product management for refrigeration. “From improved visibility to easier organization, every detail is built to make the kitchen experience feel more intuitive. Features like the new adjustable shelving and advanced lighting help deliver meaningful convenience in ways that truly elevate daily routines.”
