Freeport’s Deininger Floral Shop closes after over 85 years in business

Deininger Floral, a staple of downtown Freeport for more than 85 years, closed its doors for the final time on Saturday. Owners Paul and Brooke Deininger announced the closure on Monday, citing shifts in the floral industry and consumer behavior as reasons for closing.
