LG earned Innovation Hour honors at last week’s Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) for a 2026 appliance line that pushes the boundaries of space efficiency and high performance.

This year’s inaugural Innovation Hour program featured nine exhibiting finalists that pitched their introductions to a live, voting audience. The fast-paced and design-forward “show and tell session” emphasized emerging materials, product features and design details that are “quietly shaping the future of kitchen and bath spaces,” KBIS said.

LG was one of three winners and the sole appliance honoree, taking top honors in the “I’d Spec That Tomorrow” category. Accepting the award was Dean Brindle, LG’s senior director of product management for home solutions, who also presented for the company.

Winning the crowd’s votes was a core kitchen and laundry collection that included a smart FlushFit  top-control dishwasher designed to align with standard-depth cabinetry. Proprietary features include QuadWash Pro microbubble cleaning, Dynamic Heat Dry with dry boost and AutoVent Dry that provide outstanding performance, LG said, plus a convenient one-hour wash-and-dry cycle for time-pressed consumers.

In laundry, LG unveiled the  WashCombo All-in-One, a sleek, ventless washer and dryer that uses Inverter HeatPump technology to deliver significant energy savings while maintaining strong everyday performance, the company said.

LG also displayed three- and four-door refrigerators with a Zero Clearance hinge system that open fully to achieve a sleek look without sacrificing capacity, and Thin Door technology for a slimmer profile without compromising temperature control or storage capacity.

In addition, the manufacturer introduced three distinct luxury groupings under the LG Signature badge:

  • The Seamless Collection features flush panels, integrated forms and placement flexibility for uninterrupted sightlines, as exemplified by a new 36-inch built-in depth French door refrigerator with four doors and a minimalist design
  • The Iconic Collection achieves a timeless look with distinctive brass accents and refined finishes, as seen in a new 36-inch range with “Gourmet AI”-enabled technology
  • The Tailored Collection employs curated finishes and distinctive design details that allow homeowners to personalize their space. The grouping integrates seamlessly into cabinetry with a flush-depth design, refined materials and iconic handles that bring a customized, furniture-inspired look to the kitchen, LG said.

The Iconic Collection is set to ship this spring, followed by its two sister groupings.
