
SHENANDOAH – A man is wanted by borough police on felony aggravated assault charges, accused of striking a woman over the head with a handgun.
Rodelfy Liriano-Corniel, 22, of South Jardin Street, is wanted on felony aggravated assault, felony possession of a firearm prohibited, misdemeanor simple assault, and misdemeanor reckless endangerment charges.
According to the criminal complaint filed by Shenandoah Borough Police Patrolman Leo Luciani, officers received a complaint on Thursday, Feb. 19 regarding an assault.
A woman was struck over the head with a handgun.
The suspect was identified as Rodelfy Liriano-Corniel.
Borough Police said the woman was taken to a Pottsville hospital for treatment of injuries.
In addition to the Shenandoah charges, Liriano-Corniel is wanted in Luzerne County, according to the criminal complaint.
