If you thought that there were more country festivals now than ever, you would be correct. With new festivals seemingly popping up each and every week, you’d be hard-pressed not to find one near you at some point throughout the year.
Of course, you have your mainstay events every year, such as Stagecoach, Two Step Inn and the nationwide Country Thunder series, all of which are returning in 2026 along with some killer lineups. Though these festivals are downright stacked, it seems as if, for the most part, there’s a lack of truly great country music events in the Midwest outside of the likes of Chicago’s Windy City Smokeout, Bloomington, Illinois’ Country Thunder and St. Paul’s brand-new Minnesota Country Club Festival, which is debuting this summer.
One festival that has continually flown under the radar nationwide is undoubtedly Madison, Indiana’s Unbroken Circle Music Festival. Debuting just last year, they came out swinging with the likes of Turnpike Troubadours, Charles Wesley Godwin, Marcus King Band, Blackberry Smoke, Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder and plenty more.
This year, Unbroken Circle is continuing its hot start as a festival with another killer lineup.
Announced this morning, Whiskey Myers and Sierra Ferrell will serve as headliners for 2026. The heavy hitters don’t stop there, however. Additionally, Shane Smith & the Saints and Tanner Usrey, who were just booked to headline Taylor Sheridan’s second-annual ‘Bosque Ranch Live’ Concert, along with the likes of Josh Meloy, Taylor Hunnicut and Greensky Bluegrass are set to make appearances.
In case all of those names weren’t enough, Unbroken Circle is also calling upon some of the most underrated bands in the genre right now, including the likes of Silverada, Whitey Morgan & the 78’s, American Aquarium, Clay Street Unit and Them Dirty Roses to all make appearances throughout the festival’s three days.
Unbroken Circle Fest will run from September 10–12. Like last year, it will be held at Bicentennial Park, which is located right along the Ohio River in Madison, Indiana.
Unlike some festivals nowadays, which might cost you an arm and a leg to attend all three days, Unbroken Circle is keeping the costs down. General admission for all three days will only cost $183.11, with single-day passes being as low as $49.28. VIP passes, which include access to the VIP PIT, an exclusive viewing area, a private bar & lounge and upgraded amenities, are also available, starting at $111.05 for a single day. Finally, camping passes, which include both tent and RV options, are also available to purchase today.
It should go without saying that if you’re an Indiana resident (or anywhere in the Midwest for that matter), Unbroken Circle should be at the top of your list for music festivals in 2026. If you’re a fan of today’s current alternative country, American and bluegrass scene, it’s unlikely you’ll see a lineup this good for a cost this low.
