The NJSIAA shifted four state swimming championship meets to Thursday, Feb. 26, at Neptune Aquatic Center. A snowstorm wiped out Sunday events at Rutgers. Group A and Non-Public boys’ and girls’ finals were supposed to happen Sunday, Feb. 22.

This marks the second time officials have adjusted the championship calendar this week. Weather conditions had already pushed four meets to Tuesday.

According to NJ.com,

Group B and C finals will stick with their Tuesday slot. No more changes there. These contests take place at Rutgers, with warmups kicking off 30 minutes before swimmers hit the water.

Anyone who purchased passes for Sunday’s scrapped events will get their money back from Rutgers. The NJSIAA plans to share ticketing information for Thursday’s rescheduled meets in the coming days.

Tuesday, Feb. 24 at Rutgers brings Girls Public C with Mountain Lakes squaring off against Haddonfield at 5 p.m. Boys Public C has Mendham taking on Haddonfield at 5 p.m. Boys Public B sees Moorestown battle Chatham at 7 p.m., and Girls Public B puts Shawnee up against Chatham at 7 p.m.

Thursday’s action at Neptune Aquatic Center begins with Girls Public A. Cherry Hill East meets Bridgewater-Raritan at 1:30 p.m. Boys Public A starts at the same time, with Hillsborough going head-to-head with Bridgewater-Raritan.

Non-Public championships wrap up the week. Boys Non-Public brings Delbarton versus St. Augustine at 4 p.m. Girls Non-Public has Trinity Hall matched up with Pingry at 4 p.m.

Warmup sessions start 30 minutes before each listed time across both competition days. Only Thursday sessions moved from Rutgers to Neptune Aquatic Center.
