Arch Platform Technologies, Wacom Integrate Wacom Bridge For Virtual Workflows’

Arch Platform Technologies, a provider of cloud workstation infrastructure for GPU-intensive workflows, and Wacom, a provider of interactive pen displays and tablets, have integrated Wacom Bridge support into the Arch Platform to provide creative professionals with a high-performance experience when using Wacom devices with remote workstations.

The collaboration, which became available Tuesday, Feb. 24, allows artists and designers to maintain full driver support and customized settings with reduced latency. It includes Wacom Inkline, which provides a “local-like” feel for users connecting to virtual workstations from different locations.

“Our partnership with Wacom and the integration of Wacom Bridge is a game-changer for the creative industries,” Guy Botham, Arch Platform Technologies CEO, said. “This collaboration ensures that artists can leverage the full power of their Wacom devices within the flexible and scalable environment of the Arch Platform, without compromise.”

The integration is designed to foster flexibility and collaboration across distributed teams by ensuring pen input accuracy over long distances. It also aims to improve workflow efficiency by supporting roaming profiles and simplifying the setup of remote creative environments.

“Wacom Bridge was designed to remove the barriers of distance for creative professionals, ensuring their Wacom experience remains consistent and precise regardless of their physical location,” Koji Yano, Wacom Co. Ltd. creative experience unit head, said. “Integrating with Arch’s powerful workstation infrastructure platform creates an even more compelling solution for studios and individual artists looking to maximize efficiency and creative output in a remote-first world.”

The integrated solution is available for a free trial with an Arch Platform trial or subscription and a free Amazon DCV license. Wacom Bridge is available for purchase from Wacom and its affiliates, supporting Windows Server, Windows Client and macOS clients.
