RINGTOWN – The Ringtown Area Hometown Hero Banner Program is returning this year.
The Ringtown American Legion and the Ringtown Rotary Club undertake the effort to recognize the many veterans of the valley in Ringtown and Union Township.
Application packets are available at the Ringtown Area Library for new or replacement banners and the deadline is March 20.
A new banner is $240 including the parts to attach it to a pole. A replacement banner is $140.
Former Ringtown Mayor George Leiby began the program in 2019.
