2 detained after shooting in Crystal left man injured

Two people have been detained following a shooting in Crystal that left a man injured.

On Saturday at around 12:21 a.m., Hennepin County Dispatch received a 911 call about someone who had been shot inside a home on the 5300 block of 35th Avenue North.

Crystal police officers arrived and found a 25-year-old man outside the home with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The man was brought to the hospital and is expected to survive his injuries, police added.

Authorities said that two people present at the time of the shooting were detained at the home.

Police noted the investigation is ongoing, but there is no danger to the public at this time.
