Three days into early voting for the Preferential Primary, Baxter County recorded 422 additional ballots cast.
The total number of early votes in Baxter County now stands at 1,345, representing about 4% of the county’s 30,972 registered voters.
Additional turnout was reported in surrounding counties, with Marion County recording 442 voters, Fulton County reporting 352 voters, and 218 voters reported in Boone County.
Early voting continues from 8 to 6 on weekdays, 10 to 4 on Saturdays, and will end Monday, March 2, at 5.
