Rockford sees rise in domestic violence victims at high risk of homicide
The Rockford Mayor’s Office of Domestic & Community Violence Prevention has reported that 72% of domestic violence survivors are at high risk of being killed, and 57% have been strangled, with schools and the city’s Human Trafficking Task Force taking steps to address teen dating violence and human trafficking.
