The first day of early voting for the Preferential Primary is complete, with voters casting ballots across several counties in the region.
Fulton County reported 134 voters on the opening day, while Izard County recorded 59 ballots cast. Boone County saw 338 voters participate, Newton County had 32 voters, Stone County reported 169 ballots, and Searcy County had 127 voters take part in early voting.
Early voting will continue through Monday, March 2. Hours are 8 to 6 on weekdays, 10 to 4 on Saturdays, and 8 to 5 on the final day.
Election Day for the Preferential Primary is Tuesday, March 3, when all polling locations will be open from 7:30 to 7:30.
