The name means “the gift” in Italian, and we may be seeing why soon. The restaurant is owned by Justin Vitella and is named after his late grandmother. The new eatery will feature house-made pastas, seafood, steaks, chicken, burgers, and more. Customers will also get to enjoy the appetizer menu that includes Nan’s Meatballs, Shrimp Freddo, and a combination platter called “The Gift.”
Vitella also owns Bridge Street Burger, The Hawke, Metro North, and Metro Grill. This new restaurant will be his chance to tackle the Hibrant area.
Customers can expect to see unique decor and vibrant artwork done by local artists. The casual, but beautiful restaurant will be a new experience for guests.
Il Dono will be open Tuesday through Sunday for lunch and dinner hours. There are also catering options, private event opportunities, and more.
Excited to give it a try? Book a reservation or take a look at the menu online here.
