    Deadly house fire in Lake City 

The Lake City Fire Department says that one person was rescued and one was found dead in a fire on Sunday.

The department says that they were dispatched to a fully involved fire at 6:54 a.m. with multiple people trapped inside a multi-family home.

When firefighters arrived, they found smoke and fire on all four sides of the two-story home and the roof line, with the front porch collapsed.

During a structure search, firefighters found a young woman they rescued from a second-floor window. Another person was found dead in the home.

The rescued woman was taken to the hospital. Crews remained at the scene for seven hours, and a number of other fire departments helped Lake City.
