On Friday at 8 a.m., Roseville firefighters went to Quality Custom Distribution on the 2500 block of Walnut Street for a report of a semi on fire, the fire department says.
When they arrived, they found multiple semi-trucks on fire, and the flames were beginning to reach the building.
While trying to put the fire out, the crew found out that an employee was trapped inside a cooler in the building, unable to get out due to the smoke in the building, making it difficult to see.
Roseville and Lake Johanna firefighters were able to find the man and guide him out of the building. The worker was not injured.
After the fire was brought under control, fire crews spent two hours putting out hot spots.
The Roseville Fire Department says flames were mostly contained to the semi, but there was some minor damage to the building.
Seven other local fire departments helped. The cause is under investigation.
