The new offering consolidates four core broadcast services — master control, transmission monitoring, traffic and streaming — into a single package. PMVG said it negotiated system-wide pricing to provide stations with enterprise-level tools at a lower cost than traditional individual service contracts.
“In today’s rapidly evolving media landscape, stations need tools that reduce cost and complexity while supporting growth,” said Marc Hand, PMVG founder-CEO. “TechBundle was designed to help local stations stabilize their operations and position themselves for what comes next.”
The bundle is supported by PMVG’s “Solution Adviser” model, where the organization acts as a strategic consultant to help station leaders evaluate their specific needs and plan long-term technology investments.
The TechBundle includes four primary service components:
Jim DeChant, director of operations at Transmission Services Group, said the partnership aims to ensure 99.9% uptime. “Whether acting as a turnkey engineering resource or augmenting local teams, TSG will ensure signal reliability,” he said. “We allow stations to focus their energy on creating impactful content and funding their mission.”
The addition of Local Public Light reflects the industry’s shift toward digital-first distribution.
“Television today is streaming and digital,” said Kevin Colligan, Local Public principal executive. “Along with our TechBundle partners, Local Public is dedicated to providing digital, shared services to all stations at a price they can afford.”
Stations have the option to purchase services individually or receive an additional discount when opting for the full bundle.
