“Love Among the Stars” brings stargazing to Fred Berry Crooked Creek Nature Center
Heather Pitman, facility manager at the Fred Berry Crooked Creek Nature Center, said while the center remains closed to the public during regular daytime hours for winter, staff are beginning to offer evening and Saturday programs.
Pitman gave details of the event and said the center offers an ideal location for viewing the night sky.

The nature center was created to preserve 421 acres of natural habitat and offers outdoor experiences as well as educational classes. Pitman says even though it might not seem conventional, the program showcases another way to enjoy the outdoors.

The program begins at 5:30 p.m. and is open to the public. The nature center is located at 851 Conservation Ln in Yellville. For more information call 870-218-4387. Registration is available online.
