MH school resource officers gain new UTV through donation


The Mountain Home Police Department (MHPD) has received a new utility vehicle for its School Resource Officer Division, donated by the Second Amendment Legacy Foundation.
The donation is a Bobcat UV34XL gas utility vehicle. The foundation received a generous donation of funds that were earmarked for the purchase of the vehicle.




School resource officer Zach Ables spoke with KTLO News and says the department is greatly appreciative of the donation.

According to Toni Taylor, Operations Manager with the MHPD, the UTV is expected to have an immediate impact and provide long-term benefits. “We are incredibly thankful for community partners like the Second Amendment Legacy Foundation who continue to invest in public safety and the well-being of our students and community. Your support truly makes a difference.” Taylor said.

Ables says after meeting with the foundation he was pleased to discover all they do for the community.

The Second Amendment Legacy Foundation is a grassroots organization dedicated to preserving American values. The foundation supports youth and adult shooting sports, hunter and firearm safety programs, and community organizations including law enforcement and fire departments through grants and scholarships while promoting responsible, law abiding firearms ownership.
