KBIS Announces Best of Show Finalists

BrandSource partners dominate the noms

A highlight of the annual Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) is the Best of KBIS awards ceremony, which celebrates the most innovative new product introductions at the trade event.

This year, no less than seven BrandSource appliance partners have been selected as finalists in the awards program for pushing the boundaries of design, technology and innovation.

While the nominated products remain under wraps until KBIS kicks off on Feb. 17 in Orlando, show management has released the short list of nominees and the categories they will compete in.

The three top appliance contenders are Samsung, Fotile and LG’s luxury SKS brand, which are up for two awards each. Samsung is a finalist in the “Game-Changing Innovation” and “Sustainable Standout” categories; Fotile, a past winner, is also competing in “Game-Changing Innovation,” in addition to the “Wellness Trailblazer” category; and SKS is in the running for “Style Statement: Kitchen” and the coveted “Best in Show” award.

Also in contention for “Best in Show” is Whirlpool’s KitchenAid brand, while another “Game-Changing Innovation” nod went to Hauslane, and ZLINE and True Caliber are also vying for “Style Statement: Kitchen.”

The awards program is sponsored by Luxe Interior + Design magazine and judged by a five-person panel of interior designers. The product finalists will be reviewed again at the show, and winners will be announced on Feb. 18 at NEXTStage, located in the South Hall of the Orange County Convention Center. The awards ceremony will be followed by a Best of KBIS Happy Hour.

KBIS is the appliance industry’s largest trade show in North America and runs Feb. 17-19.
