MH Council to vote on budget amendment, Indian Creek land sale

City leaders are set to vote on a budget amendment and the sale of city owned property when the Mountain Home City Council meets Thursday night.Council members will consider a resolution amending Resolution No. 2024-29 to adopt a budget for the City of Mountain Home for the 12-month period beginning Jan. 1, 2025, and ending Dec. 31, 2025. The measure appropriates funding for each department and expenditure and will be presented by Alma Clark. Clark will also present 2026 budget adjustments for the city’s donation accounts.

other new business, the council will take up a resolution waiving competitive bidding on the sale of a city owned tract of land in the Indian Creek Subdivision. Arnold Knox is scheduled to present that item, along with a separate resolution authorizing the sale of a city-owned tract in the subdivision to Fall Creek Ventures LLC for $4,266.50.




A time for public comment will be available during the meeting.

The meeting will begin Thursday evening at 5 in the council chambers of the Municipal Building located at 720 Hickory St. The public is invited to attend.
