Expereo combines forces with Cato Networks

At TechEx in London this week, Expereo announced

it will strengthen its relationship with Cato Networks through a new collaboration. The companies will combine to offer a single-source, end-to-end networking and security solution for global enterprises.

The announcement comes four years after Cato Networks entered into a partnership with Expereo under which Expereo offered Cato SASE Cloud services worldwide. Expereo also became an MSP Premium partner at that time.

The new collaboration deepens that relationship, and it appears that the two companies will go to market together as a combined force. They will be able to offer a one-stop shop for enterprises seeking a modern, secure, cloud-native network architecture designed to support the latest AI initiatives.

The proposition combines Cato Networks’ industry-leading SASE platform with Expereo’s best-in-class underlay. The aim is to solve the networking challenges facing multinational mid- to large-sized enterprises worldwide.

Noel hamill, cmo of expereo

Noel Hamill, CMO of Expereo, comments: “This collaboration is about eliminating complexity. Together with Cato, we’re removing the need for multiple vendors and fragmented solutions. Enterprises can now move faster, scale smarter, and operate more securely – with one platform and one global partner.”

Jason Pender, AVP of Global Service Providers at Cato Networks, added, “We’re thrilled to collaborate with Expereo. Our combined capabilities offer a disruptive alternative to legacy MPLS and multi-vendor chaos. This is the future of secure enterprise networking – simple and global.”

What does the collaboration offer

Together, Expereo and Cato will offer a converged, cloud-native solution that eliminates the need for multi-vendor complexity. Key benefits of the collaboration include:

  • Unparalleled global reach, with Cato’s global backbone and 85+ Points of Presence (PoPs) and Expereo’s partners in more than 190 countries, ensuring customers are securely connected wherever they are.
  • Roadmap to a digital-first experience delivered via Expereo’s best-in-class expereoOne platform that gives enterprises seamless control, real-time visibility, and continuous validation of both underlay and overlay network performance, as well as their security, and cloud environments.
  • Direct on-ramps from Expereo’s underlay to Cato’s global private backbone, to deliver lower latency, higher reliability, and a smoother cloud and application experience.

A winning combination of SASE and global connectivity

Through this collaboration, enterprises de-risk their AI transformation journey, delivered as fast as they want to go, seamlessly, from a single team. What isn’t clear is how this will work: will the partnership offer a solution from a single provider, or will the relationship be formed as a three-party contract?

The combination of Expereo and Cato can provide a unified, cloud-native solution that simplifies network management. It includes:

  • Global connectivity through Cato’s backbone with 85+ PoPs and Expereo’s partnerships in over 190 countries.
  • A digital-first experience via Expereo’s expereoOne platform, offering enterprises control, real-time insights, and continuous validation of network and security performance.
  • Direct connections from Expereo to Cato’s private backbone for reduced latency and improved reliability. Resulting in better performance for cloud-based applications.

With a combined market potential of $105 billion in SASE and connectivity, this partnership positions both companies as leaders as businesses shift from MPLS to secure internet solutions. Enterprises can accelerate their AI transformation with confidence and speed by relying on this combination.

Enterprise Times: What does this mean

The announcement seems to extend what was announced four years ago and brings the companies closer together. What is missing from the announcement is exactly how they will go to market with this initiative. Who will lead the sales engagement, and with whom will enterprises contract?

Regardless of whether companies want to ensure their Network is future-ready and secure, this combination provides leading technology across SASE and Networking. As firms look to deepen investments in AI, is this collaboration something that will help accelerate both companies’ growth? Key will be providing case studies of success in this new era of cooperation.
