Events: Hinterland Music Fest Near DesMoines, IA, to sell single-day 2026 tickets Feb. 6, adds Oklou and Wisp to lineup

Des Moines — Hinterland Music Festival announced Monday that single-day tickets for its 2026 event will go on sale Friday, Feb. 6, at 10 a.m. CT, as the festival also added two artists to its summer lineup.

The four-day festival is scheduled for Thursday, July 30, through Sunday, Aug. 2, in St. Charles, about 30 minutes south of Des Moines. Organizers said single-day tickets will be available across all tiers — GA, GA+, VIP and VIP+ — and that 2-day GA tickets, along with single-day parking and shuttle passes, will also go on sale at the same time.

Festival organizers also announced the addition of Oklou and Wisp to the 2026 lineup. Wisp, described in the announcement as a 19-year-old shoegaze artist originally from San Francisco, has released five singles, including “Your face,” which the release said has generated more than 46 million streams on Spotify since its release last April.

The 2026 lineup includes performances by KATSEYE (Thursday), Lorde (Friday), Mumford & Sons (Saturday) and Kali Uchis (Sunday), along with artists including beabadoobee, Jessie Murph, Young Miko, Santigold and MUNA, according to the announcement.

Organizers said the festival has also been nominated for “Music Festival of the Year” at the Pollstar Awards.

The festival will again offer its “90 Degree Guarantee,” which allows ticket holders to request a refund for any day forecast to reach 90 degrees or higher. Under the policy, organizers said they will use the weather.gov forecast for the 50240 ZIP code at 10 a.m. CT on Monday, July 27, to determine whether any festival day — July 30, July 31, Aug. 1 or Aug. 2 — meets the threshold. Requests must be submitted by 11 p.m. CT on July 27, and the policy applies only to admission tickets purchased directly through AXS, not camping, parking or shuttle passes, according to the release.
