Embattled Tri-Rail orders seven new locomotives

Even as Tri-Rail struggles with a state funding cut that could cause the line to shut down in July 2027, it continues to roll toward future expansions, ordering seven new locomotives that are due to arrive in 2029 and planning for a new station in Little River.
