Trash Collection to Resume in Lakeland Following Winter Weather Delays

Trash collection services are set to resume tomorrow in Lakeland after recent winter weather conditions forced delays across many neighborhoods due to icy roads. City officials announced that while service will restart, all collections will be pushed back by one day this week.

Residents should follow the adjusted schedule below:

• Monday routes will be collected on Tuesday

• Wednesday routes will be collected on Thursday
• Thursday routes will be collected on Friday
• Friday routes will be collected on Saturday

City officials expressed appreciation for residents’ patience and understanding as crews work to safely restore normal operations.
