BeckTV & Ross Video Expand Ravens’ LED Display System

BeckTV and Ross Video have completed a significant expansion of the LED display system at M&T Bank Stadium, home of the NFL’s Baltimore Ravens.

The upgrade, which is fully operational for the current season, adds new LED displays in the stadium’s Premium Club and concourse areas. The project brings the total number of unique displays managed by the stadium’s content management system (CMS) to 52, including end-zone boards, concourse TVs, club screens, vomitory displays and ribbon boards.

At the center of the technical overhaul is the Ross XPression Tessera M9 engine, which provides real-time graphics rendering and data integration. The system also uses the Ross Ultrix FR5 routing platform and DashBoard control interfaces to allow for unified, stadium-wide management.

“This upgrade strengthens our commitment to delivering a world-class entertainment experience for Ravens fans,” said Jay O’Brien, VP of Ravens Productions and Game Entertainment. “The expanded Ross CMS introduces a new level of technical innovation, giving our production team the power to drive real-time visuals, dynamic data integrations, and unified stadium-wide takeovers.”

The project was designed and integrated by BeckTV, continuing a partnership with the Ravens and Ross Video that dates back to 2017. The new system leverages Carbonite Mosaic for compositing live video and graphics, alongside Ultrix Carbonite switchers for processing. These tools ensure pixel-accurate rendering across large-scale surfaces, including end-zone displays that measure nearly 13,000 pixels wide.

Kevin Cottam, Ross Video VP of sports and entertainment, said the project focused on creating an intuitive control environment for a complex network. “Our role was to make sure their operators can manage everything — from sponsor activations to real-time stats — without juggling multiple systems. That simplicity is what keeps game-day production smooth under pressure.”

The system also includes full redundancy to ensure reliability during high-profile events.
