Harrison man arrested on 20 counts of rape involving 12-year-old

A Harrison man has been arrested on multiple charges, including 20 counts of rape, for a case involving a 12-year-old. Being held in the Boone County Jail is 18-year-old Carson Servin Rubio.According to the Harrison Police Department, an investigation was started after it was learned Rubio had been having online conversations and physical contact with the victim for two years, starting when they were potentially 10 years of age. The investigation included multiple interviews and review of a cell phone.
During an interview with investigators, Rubio corroborated some of the allegations against him.

Rubio is facing 20 counts of rape; along with one count each of electronic facilitation of child sexual abuse; and distributing, possessing, or viewing matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child, all of which are felonies. His bond is set at $25,000.
