The lottery luck came full circle for a Baxter County resident who recently won $350,000 playing $350,000 Jackpot. She bought the $20 winning ticket at E-Z Mart #4321, 913 E. 9th St., in Mountain Home.
The lucky winner told ASL officials that her children had benefited from lottery-funded scholarships. She never believed she would land a big lottery prize until she held the winning ticket in her hand.

“This can’t be real,” the player thought.

She first shared the good news with her husband, who was equally stunned. The pair remained in disbelief until the ticket was scanned at the ASL Claim Center. Then, they knew she had indeed won the $350,000 prize.

The winner plans to save her prize for retirement.

A Harrison man recently claimed a $250,000 prize playing the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery’s 100X the Cash scratch-off game.

According to the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery, Charles Campbell claimed his prize on Jan. 20. The winning $10 ticket was purchased at White Oak Station Moark #15, located at 4281 Highway 65 South in Harrison.

Campbell’s wife purchased the ticket for him after noticing only a few tickets remained in the bin. A regular lottery player, Campbell told officials he enjoys instant tickets with higher payouts, as well as in-state draw games such as Natural State Jackpot, which offer better odds of winning.

The couple scratched the ticket in Campbell’s truck, where the final row revealed the game’s $250,000 top prize.

“I cried happy tears,” Campbell said. “I was overjoyed and so thankful.”

With his wife already aware of the win, Campbell shared the news with his boss and later with his children. Campbell said his daughter cried with him, while his son congratulated him on the $250,000 prize.

Lottery officials say Campbell has previously won $250,000 and $33,000 prizes. He plans to save much of the money and use part of his winnings to take his wife on a trip.
