Cybage Software appoints Badhrinath Krishnamoorthy as Global President

After a 24-year career at Cognizant, Badhrinath Krishnamoorthy (Badhri) has joined Cybage Software as its Global President. The appointment brings an experienced leader to help Cybage double down on its efforts to scale the organisation globally. Krishnamoorthy has been based in the US with Cognizant for over 20 years. He has deep experience in scaling an international consulting organisation.

Krishnamoorthy will be responsible for helping the organisation scale, deepen client impact, and strengthen Cybage Software’s digital capabilities to ensure it has a technology-led differentiation from rivals. He will be tasked with maintaining and enhancing the disciplined execution of projects across different markets.

Who is Badhrinath Krishnamoorthy?

Krishnamoorthy has risen through the ranks at Cognizant to lead the expansion of a global business portfolio to over $850 million, achieving significant brand value, accelerated growth, and strong client partnerships. He also helped build a $1.3B+ high-growth digital and technology services organisation.

Krishnamoorthy has held several senior positions at the global consulting firm, including Chief Strategy Officer for the Communications, Media and Technology Business Unit and Chief Strategy Officer for the AI & Analytics Practice in the Digital Practice. He has experience across a wide range of industries and has played a significant role in leading and building practices in Digital, Data, and AI-focused businesses.

Krishnamoorthy has a degree in Engineering from Madras University and an MBA from Purdue University Daniels School of Business.

This is a significant hire for Cybage Software and could help the company grow. It will be interesting to see how Krishnamoorthy plans to grow the company while maintaining a culture with which he may be unfamiliar. That he mentioned the culture in his comments is a positive. It will be interesting to see what changes he makes, especially in Cybage’s US operation.
