Reach Center opens emergency shelter in Mountain Home

The Reach Center has opened as an emergency shelter to provide refuge from extreme winter weather, officials said.

The shelter will operate around the clock through Saturday at noon and is open to anyone in need.

The Reach Center is located at 2335 E. Arkansas Ave. in Mountain Home. Officials noted the facility is not able to accommodate pets at this time.

Community members are encouraged to share the information with anyone who may need shelter during the storm.
