SpongeBob movie stars open up to Emmy and one reveals an Idaho connection
Every week I’m interviewing fascinating people in our community, nation and around the world.

Today I’m thrilled to be speaking with Tom Kenny, the voice of SpongeBob SquarePants, and Bill Fagerbakke, the voice of Patrick Star. They both star in “The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants.”

The movie tells the story of SpongeBob and his Bikini Bottom friends setting sail on their biggest adventure yet! With colossal challenges and a rescue crew on their trail, SpongeBob discovers that real courage shines brightest when friends face the unknown together.

I asked Tom and Bill what it means to have been part of the SpongeBob universe since the beginning, what their favorite lines are from the movie and what it means to them to be brave.

I loved chatting with them – and had no idea that Bill grew up in Idaho!
