The Ludo game has a great app layout that shows you all the games it has to offer on its home screen. While there are no names written on the app to highlight each game, the use of appropriate pictures for each game is more than enough to let you know which board game you will be playing by tapping on a given picture. The available games include Ludo, Ladders & Snakes, Tic Tac Toe, Tetris, Sholo Gulati and 2048. Each game has its own specific number of players with 2048 being a simple single player game.
The Ludo game’s main attraction is obviously the classic board game – Ludo. You can select up to four users for the game and this would mean that there is no CPU player in the game. If you choose a lesser number of users, you can decide to play with those players or add CPU for the remaining slots. There are four classic color combinations (Yellow, Green, Red and Blue) available for the players. There are two speed modes namely Slow and Fast. In Slow mode, there is an equal chance of getting lower and higher numbers while in Fast mode, there is a higher probability of getting higher numbers throughout.
The Snakes & Ladders game allows for upto four players with the option of adding CPU players for every open player spot. You can choose your character too in the game and this is how you would be represented in the game as well. The Sholo Gulati game is interesting as it allows up to two players in a single game and you can choose between three color combinations as well. The game is interesting because it is a genuinely interesting play over checkers as there are 18 ‘gotis’ for each player and they can move in directions as defined by the web. The game is very strategic and one wrong move can make you lose the entire game as well.
The Tic Tac Toe game has two difficulty modes – Easy and Hard. In the Easy mode, it is easier to fool the CPU and win while in the Hard mode, you would mostly draw or lose as the CPU doesn’t make any real mistakes in this one. Tetris is slightly different in this rendition as you get three options after every move and you need to accommodate them in order to get the next piece. This makes the game a bit more difficult while also allowing you to plan better with placement. The 2048 game is also slightly different than its usual representation as here the box is full with numbers from 2 to 8 and you need to combine them strategically while ensuring that there are combinations possible at every turn to get a higher score. Whenever you will run out of combinations to make, the game would end.
