One of three men charged with buying merchandise with a fraudulent credit card and then returning the items for cash pled guilty to the charges against him during a session of Baxter County Circuit Court/Criminal Division January 5.

Twenty-seven-year-old Remekio Henderson-Hall, Jr., who listed an address in Michigan at the time of the crimes was put on probation for five years.

He is now being held for California authorities. According to an announcement in court Monday, Henderson-Hall has recently been incarcerated in that state.

According to the probable cause affidavit, corporate security at Home Depot had been watching the three suspects on video surveillance throughout the day of their arrest.

The three were reported to have been picked up by surveillance cameras at two Home Depot locations in Missouri and two in Arkansas.

Receipts showed the suspects purchased merchandise at the Home Depot in Harrison with the fraudulent credit card and in less than two hours, they returned the same merchandise for cash at the Mountain Home store.

The other two men arrested with Henderson-Hall, 27-year-old Ronnie Jones who listed a Michigan address on court documents and 36-year-old Matthew Hinkle of Cedar Hill, Texas, both pled guilty earlier to the charges against them and were given five years-probation.

Jones’ case was inactive for a time after he went was a no show for court appearances for about a year and five months but was finally sentenced in mid-October 2023.
