According to a statement from MHPS Superintendent Allison Dewey,”I do not have a lot of details right now, but I know everyone is being checked by EMTs. At this time it appears there are no critical injuries, but we will know more later. From my understanding, the other vehicle pulled out in front of our bus. I am grateful to our bus driver for the quick response in this situation. As you can imagine, everyone involved is very shaken up. We initially prepared to send another bus to pick up the students, but our friends at Huntsville Schools have graciously offered to deliver our kids home in one of their buses. I appreciate everyone who has stepped up to help us in this scary situation.”
