Mountain Home City Council approves all agenda items in first meeting of 2026

The Mountain Home City Council met Thursday at 5 in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building and approved all items on its agenda.
The council passed several ordinances related to property annexation, including measures annexing land into Water & Sewer Improvement District No. 3 with Commercial C-2 and Industrial I-1 designations.





Council members also approved an ordinance allowing municipal employees and officials to conduct business with the city, along with a 2 percent cost-of-living adjustment for retirees.

An ordinance establishing new regulations on the retail sale, manufacture, and discharge of fireworks within city limits was adopted, repealing a 2024 ordinance. Additional ordinances aimed at clarifying city code provisions related to solid waste collection and condemned structures were also approved.
