The driver of the vehicle told police after the incident, Falls fled the area into the woods near the Home Depot store.
The responding officer began canvassing the area and located a male subject and gave him commands to stop and take his hands out of his pockets. The man refused and continued walking up County Road 390 towards Buzzard Roost Road, continuing to refuse the officer’s commands.
About halfway up the hill, the man turned into the woods, stopped briefly in a creek bed, then resumed walking back up the hill.
Another officer arrived and was able to intercept Falls and take him into custody.
Once Falls was in custody, police went back and spoke with the victims who said Falls had repeatedly lifted his shirt while he made threats to them, causing them to believe he had a weapon.
Falls is facing a felony charge of criminal attempt to commit robbery and misdemeanor charges of fleeing on foot and disorderly conduct. He is being held in the Baxter County Detention Center with bond set at $15,000.
