Some of our favorite 4K UHD Blu-rays are three for $33 at Amazon right now

The holidays — and the copious amounts of binge-watching that come with them — are very much behind us at this point, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be time to catch up on the movies from last year (and beyond) you might have missed. Thankfully, Amazon has brought back one of the better promos

we’ve seen in recent years, allowing you to snag three 4K UHD Blu-ray discs for $33 through January 19th.

It should go without saying that you’ll need a 4K Blu-ray player like Panasonic’s UB820-K or step-down DP-UB420-K to take full advantage of the discs; however, a disc-based Xbox Series X or PS5 will also work just fine, even if they’re not quite as capable when it comes to features as a dedicated option. As for the promo, Amazon’s discounted catalog includes more than 150 Blu-ray titles, including newer films like F1 The Movie, Wicked, and James Gunn’s latest Superman entry. You can also save on an expansive list of older films, from Inception to classics like 2001: A Space Odyssey, all available for $11 at checkout (as long as you buy three).

A few more midweek discounts

  • Genki’s excellent Mooonbase charger has once again fallen to $89.99 ($50 off) at Amazon in blue and orange, matching its lowest price to date. The retrofuturism-inspired power strip features three AC plugs (1,250W max power) and four USB-C ports, which can output up to 240W of total power. That said, I’d argue the bigger draw is that each AC outlet features a handsome, transparent design with color LEDs that you can cycle through with a push of a button. Just don’t forget to grab some USB-C cables to go with it.
  • If you own a Nintendo Switch 2, Tomtoc’s FancyCase-G05 Slim Case is currently on sale at Amazon and B&H Photo for an all-time low of $24.99 ($12 off) in various colors. Of all the cases we’ve tested for Nintendo’s latest console thus far, the G05 remains our favorite zip-up model, as it’s more rigid than competing models from PowerA / Belkin and offers ample vertical clearance above the Joy-Con 2’s analog sticks; it also holds up to 12 game cartridges.
  • Not everything announced at CES 2026 is slated to arrive in the latter half of the year. Case in point? Satechi’s new Thunderbolt 5 CubeDock, which is available for preorder from Satechi ahead of its Q1 debut for $319.99 ($80 off) when you use coupon code CES2026 for 20 percent off. The promising, Mac Mini-esque hub offers an NVMe SSD enclosure and an array of ports in a relatively small footprint, including three Thunderbolt 5 downstream ports with up to 120Gbps speeds, 10Gbps USB-C and USB-A ports, UHS-II SD and microSD card slots, and a 2.5Gb ethernet port.
