Crash closes Route 924; road to be closed through Wednesday

SHEPPTON – A main thoroughfare in our area will be closed for awhile after a crash took out a utility pole.

Route 924 from Schoolhouse Road north to Chapel Road is closed at this hour and will be closed until sometime Wednesday, the Sheppton-Oneida Fire Co. said.

Crews were called for a crash around 5:30pm for a crash. Sheppton-Oneida and Nuremberg-Weston firefighters handled the incident.

No injuries were reported but a utility pole was brought down.

Traffic is being detoured through Oneida in the interim.
