According to the affidavit from the Ozark County Sheriff’s Office, a witness told investigators Bolton confessed the abuse to her.
The victim was interviewed at a child advocacy center in Springfield where she revealed the abuse by Bolton started when she was 13 and continued until she was approximately 15 years old. She said most of the time, the acts occurred in his vehicle or her residence in Gainesville, and he often times provided her alcohol and marijuana.
Two other juveniles provided corroborating details.
Bolton is being held without bail pending his initial arraignment set for Tuesday.
