If you’re looking to ring in the new year Wednesday night, there are a lot of options in the Twin Cities metro area.

The Midway Saloon will hold its annual fishing bobber drop at midnight in St. Paul.

Families looking to celebrate early can do so at the Minnesota Children’s Museum, which is hosting “Sparklerama” from 6-9 p.m.

A giant hockey puck drop and fireworks are planned at Rice Park.

Also important to remember: Metro Transit is offering free rides in an effort to help combat drunk driving.

Happy New Year!
