Frackville woman cited for dumping furniture in township
ALTAMONT – A Frackville woman was cited for dumping furniture in the Altamont section of West Mahanoy Township.
Tina Blackney, 52, was cited for scattering rubbish by West Mahanoy Township Police.
Around Christmas, police became aware that multiple pieces of furniture had been dumped in the Altamont section of the township. Photos of the furniture circulated around social media, seeking the culprit.
Brackney was identified through the help of local residents and a deputy with the Schuylkill County Sheriff’s Department.
Police said she was cited and, if she doesn’t clean up the dumped furniture in a timely fashion, she’ll be charged the cost of disposal.
