Frackville law firm assists two families through ‘Project O’Cheer’
FRACKVILLE – A Frackville law firm is helping two families in our area through their Project O’Cheer tradition.
O’Connor Law, Frackville, originally helped in the Project Cheer effort spearheaded by the Kankowski family with the Frackville Police Department and took the effort over.
This year, the law firm sponsored two families — one from the North Schuylkill school district and another from Mount Carmel Area.
The families sent in their Christmas lists and O’Connor Law staff did the rest, shopping, wrapping, and delivering the gifts.
O’Connor Law said the families expressed gratitude and feelings of relief, noting that the holiday season is meant to be filled with joy but can quickly become a source of stress and anxiety.
