Police say a 70-year-old woman is dead following a crash on Tuesday in Champlin.
According to the Champlin Police Department, the crash happened just before 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of West River Road and Pennsylvania Avenue.
Three cars, each with the driver as the sole occupant, were involved in the incident.
Two drivers, a 17-year-old boy and a 36-year-old woman, were taken to the hospital for treatment. The third driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the deceased woman’s name at a later time.
