According to Lone Rock fire Chief James Dennis, when the first trucks arrived, the house was already nearly engulfed in flames.
Chief Dennis says the fire started in the flue and quickly spread to the attic of the house. He says fire fighters had a tough time getting to the house because it was in a remote area in a forestry land zone. He says there was only room enough for one pumper truck and one tanker at a time.
A Facebook post by the Salesville Fire Department says Fiddler suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene by paramedics from Baxter Health.
The call came in at 12:22 Sunday afternoon and firefighters from Lone Rock, Salesville, Norfork, Calico Rock and Pineville were on the scene a little over three hours.
