Chris Hall to join IRIS Software as Chief Product Officer
Hall will be responsible for leading the long-term product vision at IRIS Software across all the sectors in which it operates and will also help drive the AI-first strategy that aims to transform how customers work.
Jason Dies, CEO of IRIS Software Group, commented, “Chris’s leadership will play a central role in how we evolve our products and continue to meet the changing needs of our customers.
“His track record in product transformation and AI-driven innovation will accelerate our ability to deliver solutions that enable the thousands of organisations we support to manage complexity, stay compliant and work smarter, creating lasting value for their continued growth.”
Hall joins from Precisely, where he has been Chief Product Officer since February 2024. Hall has worked within the organisation since 2016, when he joined the Pitney Bowes Software division. He later became SVP Product & Operations when it was acquired by Syncsort in 2019, before rebranding to Precisely in 2020.
Precisely, a global leader in data integrity tools, has grown through mergers and acquisitions, and has a wide portfolio of products. A situation that will make IRIS Software’s diverse product portfolio feel familiar. Hall served nearly 6 years in the US Air Force and then spent 7 years at AOL, rising to the role of Director of Product Marketing.
During his career, he has consistently delivered growth by transforming product strategy, scaling operations, and leading cross-functional teams across complex, multi-product portfolios.
Chris Hall, Chief Product Officer (from Jan 2nd 2026) said, “IRIS has spent nearly five decades earning trust by helping customers get their most critical work right.
“Now we’re at an inflection point where AI can fundamentally change what’s possible. I’m looking forward to joining this exceptional team and developing deep customer relationships so we can deliver product roadmaps that make a real difference to their lives.”
In Hall, IRIS has found an experience product lead who is used to a diverse portfolio and working with geographically dispersed teams. Hall joins IRIS at a pivotal moment as it accelerates its AI-first strategy with its recently announced multi-million-pound strategic investment in an AI-powered tax management platform by Instead. It is also looking to embed intelligent automation across its entire software portfolio.
2025 has also seen a huge change in the leadership team at IRIS, with several CSuite appointments over the year. Is Hall the last of these? Others included:
2026 will start with an almost completely different leadership team than the one that started in 2025. It will be interesting to see how that changes the company.
