It’s the time of year again — to get creative and submit your best naming idea for MnDOT snowplows.
In the sixth annual Name a Snowplow contest, a few things have changed.
This year, people can only submit one name per person, and that name can be no more than 30 characters, including spaces.
As usual, no vulgarity in the name is allowed. Politically inspired names will also not be accepted, as MnDOT notes that snowplows are nonpartisan.
You can submit your name online by noon on Dec. 19 HERE.
After that, MnDOT staff will review all the submissions and narrow them down for the public to then vote on and determine the eight winners.
