Forever young Rod Stewart announced as fair grandstand concert

Singer and songwriter Rod Stewart will be taking the grandstand stage at the Minnesota State Fair.

The artist, one of the best-selling of all time, will be playing on Tuesday, Sept 1. Richard Marx is the special guest for the concert.

Tickets for the show go on sale on Friday, Dec. 12, starting at 10 a.m. Ticket prices start at $86, with party deck tickets starting at $168.

This is the second grandstand show announced for the 2026 Minnesota State Fair. “Weird Al” Yankovic will be playing on Friday, Aug. 28.

The 2026 Great Minnesota Get Together is Aug. 27 through Sept. 7.
