If you’re planning to send a holiday card or gift via mail this year, the United States Postal Service has compiled a list of deadlines to ensure your item makes it to its destination on time.
Hanukkah is from Dec. 14-22 this year. If you haven’t sent your Hanukkah cards or gifts already, you should do so as soon as possible to ensure they get to your loved ones on time.
USPS compiled cutoff dates to ensure your items make it to their destinations by Christmas (Dec. 25) and Kwanzaa (begins Dec. 26).
If you’re using USPS Ground Advantage Service or First-Class Mail Service, you have until Dec. 17 to ship your items.
If you’re using Priority Mail Service, you have until Dec. 18 to ship your items.
If you’re using Priority Mail Express Service, you have until Dec. 20 to ship your items.
If you’re shipping items to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or other U.S. territories, if you’re shipping items internationally, or if you’re sending gifts via Military Mail, CLICK HERE for more information on shipping deadlines.
